Hole Description
A Strong Par 4 Starting Hole – A generous fairway on this links style hole helps build some confidence for the player to start the round. The approach will offer a stronger test to the players, as the green is elevated and guarded by not only a pot bunker but a false front on the left side of the green. An experienced player will take extra club and error on the long side rather than trying to face a challenging up and down from short front of this green.

Hole Description
A Par 4 Over Water - Golfers are greeted with a tight, tree-lined view as they choose the appropriate club. A tee shot is best placed down the right side on this hole to ensure an open approach for your 2nd shot. The saddle style green is protected to the left with 3 bunkers. The safest bailout is long left should you miss the green. This area will offer the player the best opportunity to try to get it up and down for 4.

Hole Description
A Straight Away Par 5 - This is a three–shot hole for most players. The tee shot will keep the player’s interest, as it requires a forced carry over some marsh, as well as a large fairway bunker protecting the left side of the landing area. The second shot should favor left-center of the fairway. Trees down the right keep the golfer honest at 150 yards out. The distance of the nearly 600-yard hole is not the only challenge golfers face, as the highly undulated green complex offers several challenging pin placements.

Hole Description
An Under-Rated Dogleg Right - Just as the name says, this hole heads out towards willow trees guarding a pond, and then turns softly to the right. The landing area off the tee is player friendly but you need to ensure a good tee shot that comes to rest in the short grass, favoring the left side for a more favorable, yet slightly longer, approach shot. Water short of the green complex will grab any less than solid approach shots and a green side bunker back left will also force the correct club selection in order to have a putt at birdie. This hole features a fairly large putting surface that slopes gradually from right to left as well as to the front towards the water.

A Challenging Par 3 That Lives up to it's Name - This first Par-3 hole on the course offers a variety of yardage options. The green is heavily sloped from right to left down towards the pond that runs the entire left side. A safe bailout can be the large closely mown approach front right of the green, but a left side pin placement can make things very challenging to the player trying to tuck it close.

Straight Away Par 4 - With out of bounds both right and left, players can challenge the left side of the fairway to offer the best angle to a well-bunkered green. A bail out front left is offered to those who prefer to stay away from the bunkers, but beware of the deep, stacked-sod bunker.

Hole Description
A Dogleg Left Par 4 – This #1 handicap hole lives up to its ranking. Off the tee the player will be challenged to keep their tee shots down the right side to avoid the large bunkers protecting the left. Out-of-bounds comes into play should a player miss either left or right. The long-hitter who gambles to take on those left side bunkers will be rewarded with a considerably shorter approach shot. The long and narrow green slopes away to the players right. The green is guarded on the left hand side by a deep, sod-faced bunker and to the right by a stand of tall oaks. A par 4 on this hole is a memorable one.

Hole Description
A Scenic Downhill Par 3 Over Water - Players have to avoid the pond that covers the entire left side on this downhill hole. This is the shortest of the club’s four par 3 holes and a good opportunity for a birdie should the player find the putting surface near the pin. The only really safe bailout would be towards the landing area right and short of the putting surface.

Solid, Picturesque Par 5 - Players come out of the woods and back to the open, links-style design on this par 5. The hole doglegs left off the tee and has two fairway bunkers that keep long-hitters honest off the tee. Players with the length to challenge the left side may have a chance to reach in two. Those who take the designer’s route, will hit a 170+ yard second shot to a wide fairway, setting up a short third shot with a good chance for birdie to finish the front 9. A small hidden pot bunker stands guard in front of this green, forcing players to choose their club wisely for their approach to the green.

Hole Description
A Dogleg Right Par 4 - A superb challenge to start the back 9. The tee shot for most will be left center to avoid the bunkers tucked inside the bend. For the more daring player, take the route over the bunkers to shave off some yardage, but beware of out-of-bounds on the right. The approach into the green offers a challenge to players as multiple bunkers surround the putting surface. The preferred bailout is either long or short, right of the green in a closely mown collection area.

The Par-3 Peninsula Green - This hole is not only visually intimidating, but depending on the tee box played, it also requires a solid struck mid to long iron shot. The only bail out is short left of the green. Should a player be be successful and find the green on this hole, they should have a fair chance at birdie. The green is larger than it looks from the tee box but has a relatively flat putting surface. A three is always a good score on this hole.

Conclusion of the Bear Trap - The par 4 12th hole is the last of the three-hole “Bear Trap”, comprised of holes 10, 11 and 12. Water protects most the right side of this slight dog leg right. Players are offered a risk-reward scenario, as the closer the player challenges the hazard down the right side, the shorter approach to the green. Any tee shot finding the fairway is a positive here since the approach into the green will test the player’s precision with a mid or long iron. Protecting this putting surface are large Oaks on the front, right and greenside bunker on the left. Attention to pin placement is very helpful on this hole.

Choose Your Path Wisely on this Par 4 - As players circle back to the clubhouse for the second time, the tee shot is priority one on this risk-reward hole that has 17 fairway and greenside bunkers. Depending on the tee box, the player may select a shorter, straight shot off the tee or take a chance with a long ball up the left side of the fairway. While challenging fate with bunkers and out of bounds, players are next presented with an approach to the largest and most severely sloped putting surfaces on the course. Choose your approach club wisely since pin position and an elevated putting surface will test all players, regardless of ability.

Hole Description
A Short, Straight-forward Par 4 - What the hole gives back in length, it punishes with any lack of accuracy off the tee. Every player will be challenged to thread the needle off the tee trying to avoid fairway bunkers on both sides of this hole as well as the threat of out-of-bounds lurking both left and right. Should the player negotiate those obstacles with their tee shot, they are left with a short iron or wedge into a deceptive green. The green is saddled in the middle with a pitched slope, so don’t let your guard down on this hole.

Hole Description
The Beginning of "The Final Four" - This long par 4 is the lowest handicap hole on the back 9. The slightly downhill hole is a challenge to all because of it's overall length and multiple hazards awaiting on the approach. Although deceptively generous for the tee shot, the ball will get extra roll down the fairway setting up a long and treacherous approach shot. A player must negotiate the cross creek as well as water to the left of the green. Although the green is large, it challenges all players with soft subtle movement. This is the #2 Handicap hole for a reason, so par is an extremely good score.

The bail out area on this hole is either short, left, or a little long of center with a stacked-sod bunker protecting front, center of the relatively level green. Ironically, the last par 3 on the course is ranked as the easiest hole, yet its actual stroke average is higher than you would expect.

Regardless of length the smart play to start this hole is a tee shot favoring the left center of this generous fairway. This tee shot will open up the 2nd shot for those who play it as three-shot hole. A large pond protects the left side for not only those who are challenging the green in two but also those who are laying up. The putting green is a large, two-tiered surface that runs from left to right. Hole Description
A Five-Star Finish - Challenge awaits all players on this par 4, dogleg left finishing hole. Off the tee, a player must keep their tee shot down the right side to get past the trees guarding the left side. The dogleg is sharp and the approach to this green is perhaps the most challenging of all. The putting surface saddles in the middle, pushing balls that come up short back towards the player or chases longer shots away to the back collection area behind the putting green. Deep sod-faced bunkers will grab any missed approach shots to the right, while another greenside bunker is found to the left. Regardless of a players finish, the 19th hole awaits!
