The measure of course quality is rooted in the experience and craftsmanship of its design team, in our case, that is Jack Nicklaus and Johnny Miller, who have combined for 98 PGA Tour titles, including 22 majors. Their lengendary careers set the stage for the challenging and strategically sound design.
Like many of the great courses, it is a stimulating blend of design characteristics, flowing between links, open meadow and deeply forested landscapes. It is this ever-changing variety that adds to your test and enjoyment. Multiple tee boxes and differing lines of play offer golfers the opportunity to assess risk and reward in the context of their own game. As Johnny Miller, the architect for the masterpiece, said, "This challenging, yet fair, course, along with the exceptional practice facilities and the strong finishing holes on this excellent course is sure to enhance your golf game. It is truly a golfer's course, requiring a balance between finesse, strategy and power."
The mature character of the course, framed with Oak trees, Pines, and vibrant fescue grass, allows for an enjoyable and serene experience, especially when accompanied by a caddie. The highly-ranked practice facility features a full driving range with multiple target greens, a 75 yard short game practice area including bunkers, fairway and rough, multiple putting greens, and a private teaching area.
